Where I work
I provide research services in all London-based archives which have national coverage, especially:
The National Archives (Formerly known as the Public Record Office) (military service records; emigration, immigration and naturalisation records; assize records; transportation records; chancery; state papers; land records and maps; manorial records; extensive library) I am at The National Archives two or three times a week, and live very close, so I do not charge travel expenses for work there. I also provide record look-up services at TNA (see Record Look-Up Service).
I can also provide research at the Probate searchroom in Holborn (England & Wales Wills and Administrations 1858 - to date), the Society of Genealogists Library and Latter Day Saints (Mormons) Hyde Park Family History Centre, (currently housed at The National Archives) both of which have extensive family history collections, including copies of parish registers and (FHC) Irish BMD indexes PLUS any other London-based national or specialist collection.
